Module: DELL-NETWORKING-ISIS-MIB

OID (symbolic): DELL-NETWORKING-ISIS-MIB::dellNetIsisSysOloadV6SetOloadOnStartupUntil

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.6027.3.18.1.5

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Unsigned32

Access: read-write

Description: If this object is within the range of 5 to 86400, the overload bit is set for both levels for IPV6 when isis is enabled for next startup. The overload bit remains set for seconds.dellNetIsisSysOloadV6SetOloadOnStartupUntil. When dellNetIsisSysOloadV6SetOloadOnStartupUntil seconds have elapsed, the overload flag remains set if the implementation has run out of memory. Else, the system clears the overload bit. A value of zero removes the config so that it will not be effected in the next startup.

What is dellNetIsisSysOloadV6SetOloadOnStartupUntil?

When set to a value from 5 to 86400, this object makes IS-IS set the IPv6 overload bit for both levels for that many seconds after IS-IS is enabled at the next startup, with the flag staying set longer only if the router has actually run out of memory; a value of zero removes the startup configuration. Admins use it to give the IPv6 topology time to reconverge before the router accepts IPv6 transit traffic after a reboot. Setting it to 90 would keep the IPv6 overload bit set for a minute and a half following the next IS-IS startup.
