copySrcFileLocation

Module: DELL-NETWORKING-COPY-CONFIG-MIB

OID (symbolic): DELL-NETWORKING-COPY-CONFIG-MIB::copySrcFileLocation

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.6027.3.5.1.1.1.1.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: DellNetConfigFileLocation

Access: read-write

Description: Specifies the location of source file.

If the copySrcFileType has the value of dellNetFile(1), it is expected that the copySrcFileType and copySrcFileName must also be spcified. The three objects together will uniquely identify the source file.

If the copySrcFileLocation has the value of ftp(4) or scp(5), it is expected the login information liked copyServerAddress, copyUserName, and copyUserPassword also be spcified.

What is copySrcFileLocation?

This read-write object specifies where the source file for a config-copy request resides, such as flash, slot0, tftp, ftp, scp, usbflash, or nfsmount. It tells the switch which storage or transfer medium to read the source file from, and if set to ftp(4) or scp(5) the admin must also supply copyServerAddress, copyUserName, and copyUserPassword for the remote login. For example, an admin copying a trace log from local storage would set copySrcFileLocation to slot0(2) alongside copySrcFileType dellNetFile(1).
