dellNetBgpM2PeerKeepAliveConfigured

Module: DELL-NETWORKING-BGP4-V2-MIB

OID (symbolic): DELL-NETWORKING-BGP4-V2-MIB::dellNetBgpM2PeerKeepAliveConfigured

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.6027.20.1.2.3.2.1.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Unsigned32

Access: read-only

Description: Time interval in seconds for the KeepAlive timer configured for this BGP speaker with this peer. The value of this object will only determine the KEEPALIVE messages frequency relative to the value specified in dellNetBgpM2PeerHoldTimeConfigured; the actual time interval for the KEEPALIVE messages is indicated by dellNetBgpM2PeerKeepAlive. A reasonable maximum value for this timer would be configured to be one third of that of dellNetBgpM2PeerHoldTimeConfigured.

If the value of this object is zero (0), no periodical KEEPALIVE messages are sent to the peer after the BGP connection has been established. The suggested value for this timer is 30 seconds.

What is dellNetBgpM2PeerKeepAliveConfigured?

The configured KeepAlive interval, in seconds, this router uses for this peer -- normally about a third of the Hold Time -- with zero meaning periodic KEEPALIVEs are suppressed after the session comes up.
