OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.18.15.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: This value represents the largest area number and, therefore, number of areas that can be known about by the executor node's Routing. This parameter is only applicable if the executor node is of type AREA.

What is phivRouteMaxArea?

Configures the largest area number, and therefore the number of areas, that this node's Routing can know about. Only meaningful if this executor node is itself configured as an area router; needs raising if the network grows beyond the currently configured area-number ceiling.
