What is cpqSm2EventLogDate?

This read-only 7-byte OCTET STRING encodes the year, month, day, hour, minute, second, and hundredths of the timestamp for this event log entry. An administrator cares because it lets them pinpoint exactly when an iLO event occurred to correlate it with other system logs. For example, decoding this field shows a power-cable alert fired at 2:14 AM, matching a scheduled maintenance window.
