The following values are defined:
other(1) The Insight Agent is unable to determine the status of the host OS data.
noData(2) There is no data available for the host system OS.
onlineData(3) Data is available from the host OS Insight Agent.
offlineData(4) A backup copy of data is available from the Remote Insight/ Integrated Lights-Out firmware agent.
What is cpqSm2CntlrDataStatus?
This read-only integer reports the status of host OS data available to the Remote Insight/Integrated Lights-Out controller: other, no data, online data (live from the host agent), or offline data (a backup copy). It matters for distinguishing live monitoring data from a stale cached backup when the host OS agent isn't currently running. For example, an admin sees cpqSm2CntlrDataStatus report offlineData(4) and realizes the values shown are a cached backup, not current live readings, because the host OS agent is down.
