Description: Tape Physical Drive Cleaning Tape Count.
This variable is only applicable to autoloader tape drives. This variable is a count from a tape drive of the number of cleanings done by the tape cleaner last in the drive.
What is cpqTapePhyDrvCleanTapeCount?
This integer counts, for autoloader tape drives only, how many cleanings have been performed by the cleaning tape currently loaded in the drive. Admins use it alongside cpqTapePhyDrvCleanTapeRepl to gauge how close a cleaning cartridge is to needing replacement. For example, a rising cleanTapeCount approaching the cartridge's rated cleaning-cycle limit warns the admin to have a replacement cleaning tape ready.
