What is cpqScsiPhyDrvFWRev?

This is the firmware revision level of the physical drive, up to 8 characters, as returned by the SCSI inquiry command. It is used for identification purposes, such as confirming whether all disks in an array are running the same firmware before a maintenance window. For example, an admin auditing a shelf of drives might see fwRev 'B221' on most disks but 'B210' on one, flagging it for an update.
