What is cpqScsiPhyDrvCntlrIndex?
This integer identifies which SCSI controller (adapter) instance a table row belongs to, based on the physical expansion slot the card occupies. It lets management software group physical-drive rows by the controller card that owns them when a server has more than one SCSI adapter installed. For instance, cntlrIndex 1 might be the SCSI adapter in slot 1 while cntlrIndex 2 is a second adapter added in slot 3.
