This integer is the minor revision level of the MIB, where a change represents some minor additional support without altering the meaning of pre-existing information. It lets an admin know the MIB gained new objects without any risk that previously-understood fields changed meaning. For example, an agent upgrade that bumps revMinor but not revMajor tells the admin existing monitoring scripts remain valid, only new data may be available.
