What is cpqDaTapeDrvNegotiatedLinkRate?
cpqDaTapeDrvNegotiatedLinkRate reports the negotiated SAS or SATA link speed for a tape drive: other, rate-1-5 (1.5 Gb/s), or rate-3-0 (3.0 Gb/s). A tape drive negotiating a lower rate than expected suggests a cabling or connector problem limiting its throughput during backup windows. For example, an admin noticing slower-than-usual backup completion times would check whether this specific drive's negotiated link rate has dropped from its normal value.
