Module: CPQIDA-MIB

OID (symbolic): CPQIDA-MIB::cpqDaPhyDrvThrViSpinupTime

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.232.3.2.6.1.1.31

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: Spin up Time in tenths of seconds Threshold Has Been Violated.

This is used to indicate whether the time it took for a physical drive to spin up to full speed has ever exceeded the maximum allowable threshold.

The valid values are:

false (1) Indicates that the Spin up Time object (cpqDaPhyDrvSpinupTime) value has not exceeded the maximum threshold (cpqDaPhyDrvThrSpinupTime).

true (2) Indicates that the Spin up Time object (cpqDaPhyDrvSpinupTime) value has exceeded the maximum threshold (cpqDaPhyDrvThrSpinupTime).

unknown (4294967295) The agent is unable to determine if the drive has a threshold violation.

What is cpqDaPhyDrvThrViSpinupTime?

cpqDaPhyDrvThrViSpinupTime is a false/true/unknown flag indicating whether a physical drive's spin-up time has ever exceeded its maximum threshold (cpqDaPhyDrvThrSpinupTime). This gives an admin a persistent record that a drive once took too long to reach full speed, even if a later measurement came back within normal range. For example, an admin deciding between two otherwise-healthy spare drives would prefer the one whose spin-up violation flag reads false, since it has no history of exceeding its threshold.
