cpqDaPhyDrvThrReallocAborts is the factory-set maximum threshold for reallocation-abort errors on a physical drive during its reference time window, corresponding to the cpqDaPhyDrvReallocAborts counter. Because occasional bad-sector reallocation is normal for magnetic disks, this threshold marks the point at which repeated reallocation failures indicate a deeper media problem. For example, an admin would treat a drive whose reallocation-abort count crosses this threshold as needing replacement rather than continued monitoring.
