Description: Other Timeouts Maximum Threshold.

This shows the maximum threshold of the number of times that a physical drive did not respond with an interrupt within a controller-defined period of time after a command had been issued during the reference time (phyDrvRefTime).

This threshold is associated with the cpqDaPhyDrvOtherTimeouts object in the Physical Drive Table.

What is cpqDaPhyDrvThrOtherTimeouts?

cpqDaPhyDrvThrOtherTimeouts is the factory-set maximum threshold for non-DRQ command timeout events on a physical drive during its reference time window, corresponding to the cpqDaPhyDrvOtherTimeouts counter. This threshold separates an occasional slow command response from a pattern serious enough to indicate a responsiveness problem with the drive. For example, if a drive's other-timeout counter exceeds this threshold, an admin would prioritize investigating that drive's connection over drives whose timeout counts remain under threshold.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CPQIDA-MIB::cpqDaPhyDrvThrOtherTimeouts

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.232.3.2.6.1.1.16.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CPQIDA-MIB::cpqDaPhyDrvThrOtherTimeouts.1

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> cpqDaPhyDrvThrOtherTimeouts.1
