Description: Physical Drive IRQ Deglitch Count Maximum Threshold.

This shows the maximum threshold of the number of times this physical drive can return a IRQ deglitch status. The drive may be failed if retries do not work. This is not supported by the IDA, IDA Expansion, or IDA-2 controllers.

This threshold is associated with the cpqDaPhyDrvIrqDeglitches object in the Physical Drive Table.

What is cpqDaPhyDrvThrIrqDeglitches?

cpqDaPhyDrvThrIrqDeglitches is the factory-set maximum threshold for IRQ deglitch events on a physical drive, corresponding to the cpqDaPhyDrvIrqDeglitches counter, and is not supported on IDA, IDA Expansion, or IDA-2 controllers. This threshold defines how much interrupt-line noise filtering is considered normal before it points to a flaky physical connection needing attention. For example, an admin would prioritize inspecting a drive's connection once its IRQ deglitch count crosses this threshold, ahead of drives still reporting counts below it.
