Description: Physical Drive Aborted Command Failures Maximum Threshold.

This shows the maximum threshold of the number of times this physical drive can be failed due to aborted commands that could not be retried successfully. This is not supported by the IDA, IDA Expansion, or IDA-2 controllers.

This threshold is associated with the cpqDaPhyDrvAbortedCmds object in the Physical Drive Table.

What is cpqDaPhyDrvThrAbortedCmds?

cpqDaPhyDrvThrAbortedCmds is the factory-set maximum threshold for aborted-command failures on a physical drive, corresponding to the cpqDaPhyDrvAbortedCmds counter, and is not supported on IDA, IDA Expansion, or IDA-2 controllers. This threshold defines the tolerance for commands that could not be successfully retried before the drive is considered to have a serious responsiveness problem. For example, an admin would treat a drive whose aborted-command count exceeds this threshold as a priority over drives with only occasional aborted commands still under threshold.
