This is the serial number assigned to the physical drive. This value is based upon the serial number as returned by the SCSI inquiry command but may have been modified due to space limitations. This can be used for identification purposes.
What is cpqDaPhyDrvSerialNum?
cpqDaPhyDrvSerialNum is a DisplayString holding the serial number a physical drive reported via the SCSI inquiry command, possibly trimmed to fit available space, and exists for identification purposes.
