Description: Recovery Failed (Bad) Write Error.

The number of times a write error occurred while performing Automatic Data Recovery from another drive to this physical drive during the reference time (phyDrvRefTime).

If a write error occurs, Automatic Data Recovery stops. These errors indicate that the physical drive has failed. If you suspect a problem, schedule server down time to run diagnostics to verify that a problem exists.

What is cpqDaPhyDrvBadRecvWrites?

cpqDaPhyDrvBadRecvWrites counts write errors that occurred while the controller was performing Automatic Data Recovery, copying data from another drive onto this physical drive, during the reference time window. Since a write error during this recovery process stops the recovery, a nonzero value indicates this particular target drive has failed and cannot accept the recovered data. As an example, if an admin swaps in a replacement drive and this counter increments during the rebuild, that specific replacement drive itself needs to be swapped again.
