For duplexed array controllers, this is the slot number of the partner controller. For non-duplexed controllers and partner controllers that reside in a separate host system, the value should be -1.
What is cpqDaCntlrPartnerSlot?
This integer is the physical slot number of the partner controller in a duplexed pair, and reports -1 for non-duplexed controllers or when the partner sits in a separate host. An admin uses this to physically locate the paired controller when servicing a redundant, duplexed array configuration. For example, a controller in slot 3 reporting cpqDaCntlrPartnerSlot of 4 tells the admin its duplexing partner card sits in slot 4 of the same chassis.
