other (1) Indicates that the instrument agent does not recognize the value. You may need to upgrade the instrument agent.

passwordMissing (2) Indicates that the array controller password is missing. One or more encrypted drives are currently locked and inaccessible.

passwordActive (3) Indicates that the array controller password is active and in use.

What is cpqDaCntlrEncryptCntlrPwdAvailStatus?

This enumerated value reports whether the controller's encryption password is currently available (passwordActive) or passwordMissing, in which case one or more encrypted drives are locked and inaccessible. An admin treats passwordMissing as an urgent issue since it directly means data is currently unreachable. For example, cpqDaCntlrEncryptCntlrPwdAvailStatus reporting passwordMissing explains to the admin why an encrypted logical drive suddenly stopped responding to I/O.
