notSupported (2) Indicates that the daughter board type field is not supported on this type of controller.

notPresent (3) Indicates that no daughter board is present.

fibreBoardPresent (5) Indicates that the Fibre daughter board is present.

arrayExpansionModulePresent (6) Indicates that an array Expansion Module is present.

What is cpqDaCntlrDaughterBoardType?

This enumerated value identifies what type of optional daughter board is installed on the controller, such as scsiBoardPresent, fibreBoardPresent, or arrayExpansionModulePresent. An admin uses this to confirm which expansion interface (SCSI, Fibre Channel, or array expansion) is physically attached before troubleshooting connectivity to external storage. For example, cpqDaCntlrDaughterBoardType reporting fibreBoardPresent tells the admin the controller is extended with Fibre Channel connectivity rather than a SCSI daughter card.
