This enumerated value reports whether Power Meter reading data is currently available on a server that does support the feature, distinguishing other, present, and absent. It tells an administrator whether the momentary lack of a power reading is a real problem or just a normal transient state before the sensor has reported in. For example, seeing absent(3) right after a reboot would be expected, but persistent absent(3) during steady-state operation would warrant investigating the power meter sensor.
