This read-write enumerated value reports whether the system supports the Integrated Management Log, and an SNMP set of the value clear wipes all entries from the System Event Log. An admin uses the clear value as a remote way to purge the event log after reviewing and resolving all outstanding entries, without needing physical or console access. Setting cpqHeEventLogSupported to clear after confirming all logged events have been addressed resets the log for fresh monitoring.
