Description: The status of the ASR dial in feature.
If the current value of this object is other(1) any attempt to set this object from a management station will fail. Any attempt to set this object to other(1) by a management station will fail.
Setting this object to enabled(3) will enable the cpqHeAsrStatus object.
What is cpqHeAsrDialInStatus?
This read-write enumerated value reports the status of ASR's remote dial-in feature, which cannot be set from other, and enabling it also enables cpqHeAsrStatus. An admin enables this so a remote technician can dial directly into the server's firmware console for diagnostics after an ASR event. Enabling dial-in lets a remote support engineer connect to the firmware console over modem without being physically on-site.
