This index is used for selecting the physical drive table entry. This number, along with the cpqFcaPhyDrvBoxIndex uniquely identify a specific physical drive.

What is cpqFcaPhyDrvIndex?

This integer, together with cpqFcaPhyDrvBoxIndex, uniquely selects a row in the physical drive table for a given disk. An admin uses this combined index whenever cross-referencing a physical drive's detailed attributes, such as status or serial number, from other tables in the MIB that reference physical drives by ID. For example, a logical drive's phyDrvIDs list might include the value 3, which an admin then looks up here to find that specific disk's model and firmware revision.
