This enumerated value gives the overall condition of the controller and any storage boxes associated with it, as other, ok, degraded, or failed. An admin uses this as a combined rollup covering both the controller hardware and everything it's attached to, useful for a single at-a-glance health check of an entire storage chain. For example, degraded(3) here even when cpqFcaHostCntlrCondition alone reports ok would tell the admin the problem lies in one of the attached storage boxes rather than the controller itself.
