What is rearLEDCardHardwareVpdUuid?
This OCTET STRING is a UUID burned into the rear LED/status-indicator card mounted at the back of the chassis's VPD at manufacture, a globally unique identifier for that physical unit. Management software uses this UUID, rather than a serial number a technician might mistype, to keep tracking the same physical card correctly across moves and VPD reloads. For example, management software tracks rearLEDCardHardwareVpdUuid to keep correctly identifying the rear LED card even after a chassis firmware reload rebuilds the VPD table.
