What is cmSysCondIndex?
This read-only Integer32 (1..65535) is an integer index value used to uniquely identify a standing condition at the system level. An admin cares because it is the index into the table of currently outstanding system-level conditions, letting each one be addressed individually via SNMP. For example, an NMS walks cmSysCondIndex values to enumerate every currently open system-level condition on the device.
