What is cmAlarmSeverityAssignmentNotifCode?
This read-write TrapAlarmSeverity allows configuration of the severity assigned to the condition covered by this row. An admin cares because it is the actual writable control that lets them override the vendor-default severity for a given alarm condition type and entity combination. For example, an admin sets this to 'minor' for a rarely relevant condition type so it stops paging on-call staff at critical priority.
