rlPhdUnitEnvParamMonitorTemperatureStatus
Module: CISCOSB-Physicaldescription-MIB
OID (symbolic): CISCOSB-Physicaldescription-MIB::rlPhdUnitEnvParamMonitorTemperatureStatus
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.6.1.101.53.15.1.13
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-only
Description: Display environment monitoring chassis temperature status
What is rlPhdUnitEnvParamMonitorTemperatureStatus?
This read-only INTEGER reports the chassis-wide temperature status as one of three levels: ok, over the warning temperature threshold, or over the critical temperature threshold. An admin uses this coarse status as a quick health check, escalating urgency sharply between the warning and critical levels, since crossing the critical threshold risks automatic protective shutdown of the unit. For example, seeing this field move from ok to overTemperatureThreshold would prompt the admin to check cooling and airflow immediately, before it potentially escalates to the critical level and the device protects itself by shutting down.
