OID (symbolic): CISCOSB-Physicaldescription-MIB::rlPhdUnitEnvParamMonitorAutoRecoveryEnable
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.6.1.101.53.15.1.12
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: TruthValue
Access: read-write
Description: Disable environment automatic recovery option
What is rlPhdUnitEnvParamMonitorAutoRecoveryEnable?
This read-write TruthValue controls whether the device's environmental monitor will automatically attempt recovery actions, such as re-enabling a port or subsystem, after an environmental fault clears. An admin in a sensitive deployment might disable auto-recovery to force manual intervention and root-cause review after any thermal event, rather than letting the system silently resume on its own. For example, after a repeated overheating incident, the admin sets this to false so the switch will not automatically resume normal operation once temperature drops, ensuring a human reviews the cause first.
