This read-create object sets, in seconds, how long a DR waits for a PIM Register-Stop message after sending a Null-Register probe before it resumes full Register-encapsulation, corresponding to the protocol's Register_Probe_Time. An admin adjusts this to tune how quickly a DR falls back to encapsulating source traffic if the RP doesn't respond to its probe. For example, lowering this value on a DR with a fast, low-latency path to its RP would let it resume normal registration sooner after a suppression period ends.
