What is rlPimNmEntStatsNumSentRegisterStop?
This read-only counter records how many PIM Register-Stop messages this DC-PIM Neighbor Manager entity has sent, which are the messages an RP uses to tell a DR to stop encapsulating source traffic. An admin watching this value can confirm the RP is actively managing shortest-path-tree cutover for sources it already has native delivery to. For instance, a sudden burst of Register-Stops sent would indicate the RP just told several DRs it no longer needs their encapsulated multicast traffic.
