Description: Indicates to a visiting mobile node the interval at which that node may expect to receive RAs. The node may use this information in its movement detection algorithm.

What is rlIpv6RouterAdvertAdvIntervalOption?

This read-write flag controls whether the router advertisement includes the interval option that tells a visiting mobile node how often to expect router advertisements, information it can use in its movement-detection logic. An admin enables this on networks supporting mobile IPv6 nodes so they can better detect when they've moved to a new link. For example, enabling this option helps a mobile node distinguish a delayed advertisement from evidence that it has roamed off this router's link.
