Description: An alternate routing metric for this route. The semantics of this metric are determined by the routing- protocol specified in the route's rlInternInetCidrRouteProto value. If this metric is not used, its value should be set to -1.
What is rlInternInetCidrRouteMetric2?
This read-only value reports an alternate routing metric for an internal CIDR route, with its meaning again determined by the route's originating protocol, and -1 when unused. An admin consults it alongside the primary metric when a routing protocol reports more than one metric dimension for a route. For example, a protocol that tracks both cost and reliability might use the primary metric for cost and this second metric for the reliability figure, both viewable per route.
