What is rlRaGuardPolicyDeviceRole?
This read-write INTEGER (unspecified(-1), host(1), router(2)) in the RA Guard policy table specifies the expected role of the device attached to a port or VLAN using this policy. An admin cares because setting host(1) tells RA Guard that no legitimate Router Advertisements should ever arrive there, so it can drop all of them outright, while router(2) allows RAs subject to the other match checks. For example, setting this to host(1) for policy "raguard-host" on user access ports means any Router Advertisement seen there is treated as rogue and dropped.
