What is rlDhcpGuardPolicyDeviceRole?
This read-write value specifies the role, client or server (or unspecified), that a named DHCPv6 guard policy expects the attached device to play. An admin sets this so the guard policy knows whether to treat traffic on a port as coming from a DHCPv6 client or an authorized DHCPv6 server, which determines what filtering rules apply. For example, setting this to server on the policy applied to an uplink port allows that port to relay legitimate DHCPv6 server replies while a client-role policy on an access port would block them.
