Description: Setting this object to 'first' instructs the system to erase all previous information associated with the rlAutoSmartPortTypesType and rlAutoSmartPortMacroType associated with this conceptual row. Setting this object to 'middle' instructs the system to wait for further parameters. Setting this object to 'last' informs the system that no further parameters will be sent and therefore it can start applying the smartport type. Setting this object to 'single' instructs the system to erase all previous information associated with the rlAutoSmartPortTypesType and rlAutoSmartPortMacroType associated with this conceptual row and informs the system that no further parameters will be sent and informs the system that no further parameters will be sent and therefore it can start applying the smartport type.
What is rlAutoSmartPortParamOrder?
This read-write value sequences a multi-step parameter submission for applying a smart port type itself, using the same first, middle, last staging as the macro parameter object. Management tools use this ordering to send several configuration parameters for a smart port type change safely before the switch commits the update. For example, a provisioning script would set this to first when starting to send port-type parameters, and to last to tell the switch to now go ahead and apply the smartport type with the values received.
