p2mpLocalLoopbackChannel

Module: CISCO-WIRELESS-P2MP-PHY-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-WIRELESS-P2MP-PHY-MIB::p2mpLocalLoopbackChannel

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.170.1.1.3.1.1.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Unsigned32

Access: read-write

Description: This object identifies the channel being used to loopback the data. This object is not applicable for loopback testing when p2mpLocalLoopbackMode has a value of 'noLoopback(1)'.

What is p2mpLocalLoopbackChannel?

This read-write object selects which of up to seven channels is used when looping back data for a diagnostic test, and like the related loopback objects it has no effect while p2mpLocalLoopbackMode is noLoopback(1). It lets an admin target a specific frequency channel for the loopback test rather than whichever channel happens to be active. For example, if intermittent errors are suspected on channel 4 specifically, the admin sets p2mpLocalLoopbackChannel to 4 before running the loopback diagnostic to confirm the fault is channel-specific.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.170.1.1.3.1.1.3
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-WIRELESS-P2MP-PHY-MIB::p2mpLocalLoopbackChannel

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.170.1.1.3.1.1.3.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-WIRELESS-P2MP-PHY-MIB::p2mpLocalLoopbackChannel.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.170.1.1.3.1.1.3.1 i <value>
