What is p2mpLedType?
This read-only object identifies which function a given front-panel LED represents, such as interfaceEnable, majorAlarm, minorAlarm, outOfService, or carrier. It lets management software or an admin map a specific LED position on the chassis to the condition it's meant to indicate before interpreting its color. For example, when writing a monitoring dashboard that mirrors the unit's front-panel lights, the admin reads p2mpLedType to know that a particular LED entry represents the majorAlarm indicator rather than the carrier indicator.
