What is p2mpAntennaPolarization?
This read-only object reports whether the antenna is mounted for vertical(1) or horizontal(2) polarization. Polarization mismatch between a subscriber and head-end antenna causes significant signal loss, so an admin checks this value when diagnosing unexpectedly weak links between paired radios. For example, if a newly installed subscriber unit shows poor received power despite a clear line of sight, the admin compares its p2mpAntennaPolarization against the head-end's setting to rule out a polarization mismatch.
