Description: This object specifies the number of received messages by WDS after receiving the messages from Wireless Network Manager. Discontinuities in the value of this counter can occur at re-initialization of the WDS, and at other times as indicated by the value of cwdsiWnmDiscontinuityTime.
What is cwdsiWnmRxMsgCount?
This read-only Counter32 counts the number of messages received by the WDS from the Wireless Network Manager. An admin uses this to confirm the WDS is actively receiving inbound traffic from its WNM. For example, an admin seeing cwdsiWnmRxMsgCount stall while cwdsiWnmLinkStatus still shows up would suspect the WNM has simply stopped sending messages rather than the link itself failing.
