Description: This object specifies the number of messages dropped by WDS received from Wireless Network Manager. Discontinuities in the value of this counter can occur at re-initialization of the WDS, and at other times as indicated by the value of cwdsiWnmDiscontinuityTime.
What is cwdsiWnmDropRxMsgCount?
This read-only Counter32 counts the number of messages the WDS dropped that it had received from the Wireless Network Manager. An admin monitors this to detect inbound message processing problems, such as malformed or unexpected messages from the WNM. For example, a rising cwdsiWnmDropRxMsgCount would prompt an admin to investigate whether the WNM is sending messages the WDS can't properly process.
