This read-only object reports the number of severely errored framing seconds encountered on the SONET section layer during the current 24-hour interval. An administrator monitors this to see whether framing-level disruptions are occurring on the section layer over the course of the current day. For example, a sudden jump in this counter mid-day would correlate with a specific event, such as a fiber disturbance, that disrupted section framing.
