Description: This is the Coding violations(CV) threshold for the 24 hour interval, above which alarm is generated. This threshold is the same for Far End and Near End.
What is cwsLineTotalCVsThreshold?
This object configures the coding violations threshold for the 24-hour interval on the SONET line layer, above which an alarm is generated, applying equally to Far End and Near End measurements. An administrator uses this daily threshold to catch a slow accumulation of coding violations on the line layer that would not necessarily trip the current-interval threshold. For example, a line with a small constant trickle of coding violations from both near and far end could cross this 24-hour threshold gradually over the course of the day.
