This read-only object reports the number of errored seconds that were encountered on the SONET line layer, near end, during the previous 24-hour interval. An administrator uses this historical figure to compare today's line error activity against yesterday's baseline. For example, a previous-day count much higher than the current-day count would suggest a line problem observed yesterday has since eased.
