cwceLteRsrqOnsetNotifThreshold

Module: CISCO-WAN-CELL-EXT-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-WAN-CELL-EXT-MIB::cwceLteRsrqOnsetNotifThreshold

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.817.1.1.1.1.1.11

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: CiscoWanCellExtRsrq

Access: read-write

Description: This object specifies the RSRQ onset threshold
value. If the value of cwceLteCurrRsrq goes below
the threshold and the service bit in
cwceLteRsrqOnsetNotifFlag is set, the
cwceLteRsrqOnsetNotif notification for that
service will be sent. The absolute value of
cwceLteRsrqAbateNotifThreshold should be
less than or equal to the absolute value of
cwceLteRsrqOnsetNotifThreshold
(|cwceLteRsrqAbateNotifThreshold| <=
|cwceLteRsrqOnsetNotifThreshold|).

What is cwceLteRsrqOnsetNotifThreshold?

This read-write object sets the RSRQ onset threshold; when the live cwceLteCurrRsrq value drops below it and the corresponding service bit in cwceLteRsrqOnsetNotifFlag is enabled, an onset notification is sent, with the abate threshold's absolute value required to stay less than or equal to this one's. An administrator sets this to define when degraded signal quality, as opposed to raw strength, should trigger an alert. For example, an engineer concerned about interference-driven quality problems would set this threshold to catch RSRQ degradation even when RSRP remains strong.
