What is serialLineRateVariation?
This read-only object reports the line rate variation of HSSI/X.21/V.35 DCE interfaces in parts per million, following the formula that the actual generated clock equals serialLineRate plus or minus this variation scaled by serialLineRate, and is supported only on the FRSM-HS2/B card. An administrator reads it to see how far the actual generated clock deviates from the configured serialLineRate. For example, a value showing a large ppm deviation would prompt an engineer to suspect a hardware clocking issue on that DCE interface.
