This read-only Counter tallies the number of frames with the DE bit set received on the ingress side of this logical port, aggregating across all channels on that port rather than per-channel. An administrator monitors this port-level counter to see the overall volume of discard-eligible traffic arriving on the port as a whole. For example, a high rcvPortFramesDE relative to rcvPortFrames on a port would indicate a large share of that port's aggregate ingress traffic is already marked discard-eligible.
