This read-only Counter tallies the number of frames received on ingress that this device itself tagged with the FECN bit, as opposed to rcvFramesFECN which counts frames arriving already so tagged. An administrator distinguishes this from rcvFramesFECN to determine whether FECN marking is originating at this switch (as congestion is detected locally) or arriving from further upstream. For example, a channel showing high rcvFramesTaggedFECN but low rcvFramesFECN would indicate this device is the one detecting and marking congestion, rather than merely relaying congestion signals set elsewhere.
